Chia Seed Pudding Recipe

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 1 cup f hemp seed (I made my own in the Vitamix)
  • 2 Tbsp. raw organic honey or a grade B maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. unflavored coconut oil (jarrow formula)
  • pinch of pink Himalayan salt
  • 2 good shakes penzi’s  all spice
  • 1 Tbsp. of raw organic cacao powder
  • ½ cup of raw nuts such as almonds or walnuts
  • 1 ½ cups soaked nutiva chia seeds
  • ½ cup ground linseeds.
  • Choose a yummy topping of your choice

Method

  1. Soak your chia seeds in some water until they form a nice gel. Put 1 ½ cups of your soaked chia seeds in a bowl along with ½ cup ground linseeds and mix together.
  2. Place in the Vitamix your hemp seed milk, raw honey or maple syrup, coconut oil, Himalayan pink salt, spice, cacao powder and blend until well combined.
  3. Pour your liquid mixture over you chia and linseed mix and combine really well. Add in your raw nuts and continue to mix.
  4. Serve in bowls with toppings of your choice! Berries, raw coconut shreds, chopped mango, goji berries with almonds and  sweet cacao nibs or with some extra honey! The choice is yours!

Notes

You can also stir this mixture over a very low heat on the stove to make a yummy warming breakfast served with your favourite herbal tea
