The Wellness CSI™ Method
The code was never hidden.

Put it on the table
Nothing here isunusual on its own.
A week of somebody's ordinary life. Every piece of it could be explained away by itself. That's exactly why we put it on the table.
Sleep
2:47 AM
Awake around the same time most nights. Usually back down by four.
First real meal
3:18 PM
“I'm intermittent fasting.” Maybe. Or maybe the morning keeps getting away from her.
Steps
4,126
Was closer to nine thousand in the spring.
Training
2 missed
Both times something at work ran long.
Calendar
11 hrs
Meetings booked back to back on four days out of five.
Resting HR
+6
Above her own baseline eleven days running.
Evening
9:40 PM
Dinner. Then the part of the day that finally belongs to her.
What she says
“I'm just tired.”
She's been saying it since March.
2:47 AM ↔ 9:40 PM
Which came first? When did the late evenings actually start?
3:18 PM ↔ “I'M FASTING”
Was this something she chose — or something that happened often enough to eventually get a name?
RESTING HR ↔ MARCH
What changed around the time her own baseline started moving?
See what just happened?
We didn't give her a diet.
We didn't tell her to exercise more.
We didn't hand her a sleep routine.
We asked what changed.
That's the Wellness CSI™ Method.
Now imagine puttingyours on the table.
What changed around the time this started?
What am I looking at separately that might belong together?
What have I been trying to fix without ever asking when it began?
You asked at the door
So what's
the code?
There isn't one perfect diet.
There isn't one perfect workout.
There isn't one morning routine everybody forgot to tell you about.
The code
is you.
Not in a motivational-poster sense.
Your sleep. Your history. Your age. Your work. Your relationships. Your food. Your movement. Your environment. Your genetics. Your stress. Your recovery. The things you've tried. The things that worked for six weeks and somehow disappeared. And the life all of it has to fit inside.
That's why I'm increasingly suspicious of health advice that starts with the answer.
You were never missing the code.
We just got very good at looking outside ourselves for it.
Why it exists
Why I wrote The Black Book of Wellness™
I didn't write it because the world needed another wellness book telling people what to eat, how to exercise or what time to go to bed.
I wrote it because after decades in this field I kept seeing the same strange thing happen: we had more information, more experts, more devices, more supplements, more programs — and somehow it was getting harder to know what deserved our attention.
The Black Book of Wellness is a way to see your own life differently — and to know what to do with what you notice.
Where it goes next
The Black Book of Wellness™ is one expression of this.
The same way of looking, in your hands, with somewhere to put what you notice. It isn't the Method — it's one of the ways people use it.

There isn't one right way to continue. Pick the one that fits what you need now.
